NASLOV: Surrounding Sensors and Automotive Software Development
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

POVZETEK:

The seminar is focused on the integration and development of surrounding sensors and automotive software. It covers the advancements in driver assistance systems, including the application of Lidar, Radar, and Camera sensors for data fusion, crucial for the development of autonomous vehicles. It highlights the laboratory's capabilities, showcasing its equipped test cars (BMW i3, Renault Twizy, VW Passat), and the use of Matlab alongside various sensor technologies. The research emphasizes the necessity of sensor fusion for improving detection quality and addresses the physical limitations of sensors, proposing design adaptations for better visibility. Furthermore, it delves into software development methodologies like Rapid Control Prototyping and the V-Model, illustrating their importance in the development process of automotive software. Additionally, a special focus is placed on the upcoming HTWD-Hackathon "RoboTaxi" in September 2024, encouraging collaborative programming and testing efforts.

Seminar bo potekal v angleškem jeziku v FAMNIT-VP3 s pričetkom ob 16:00 uri.

Vabljeni.
