petek, 4. februar 2022 Študentke biopsihologije UP FAMNIT iščejo študente programerje za sodelovanje pri izdelavi video igre / UP FAMNIT Biopsychology students are looking for student programmers to participate in a video game creation

Julija Pavlin, Nuša Šijanec and Kaja Bajželj, 2nd year biopsychology students at UP FAMNIT are looking for student programmers (including those who have already completed their studies) who would be willing to work with them in the making of a video game for The Student Game Award, part of the Game Development World Championship (GDWC). The students have already started to develop the video game in the Unity program, so knowledge of the C# programming language would be desirable, as well as some other language that would be compatible with the program. "The game would be a kind of 2D platformer with elements of storytelling, puzzle solving and combat," said student Julija Pavlin.

The Student Game Award is a brand new category for the GDWC aimed specifically for students, and open to students of all fields, as long as they have a game to show us.

The competition offers visibility in a global game developer community and recognition from industry professionals. Participation is entirely free and online, so no travel is required.
