Naslov: Activation Functions in Multilayer Perceptrons

Kratek povzetek:
The multilayer perceptron comes from the family of artificial neural network models, capable of classification, regression, and semi-autonomous learning given a set of problem instances and correct outputs (supervised learning). This is done by minimizing the error function using a mixture of blame-propagation methods, such as backpropagation, and optimization methods, such as gradient descent. The time it takes for a network to learn the underlying model of the data can be crucial to its successful application. To this end, we often seek to minimize the amount of time required for it to converge to a sufficiently optimal solution, through clever use of activation and error functions.
