Dear freshmen!

Your first Academic year is about to start and we are warmly inviting you to take part of the activities and events of the first day!

  • 10.00 – 11.00: University of Primorska reception of freshmen on Tito square
  • 11.00 – 11.30: UP FAMNIT reception of freshmen – in Slovene, classroom Tramontana (UP FHŠ, Titov trg 5, ground floor)
  • 12.00 – 12.30: UP FAMNIT reception of freshmen – in English, classroom Tramontana (UP FHŠ, Titov trg 5, ground floor)
  • 11.30 – 13.00: informal socializing at the Faculty with Student council and students

Meetings with study programmes coordinators:

  • 13.00–13.45: Computer Science (in Slovene), Famnit-VP2 (Glagoljaška 8, 1. floor)
  • 13.45–14.30: Computer Science (in English), Famnit-VP2 (Glagoljaška 8, 1. floor)
  • 13.00–13.45: Mathematics (in Slovene) & Mathematics in Economics and Finance (in Slovene), Famnit-Muzejski1 (Muzejski trg 7, ground floor)
  • 13.45–14.30: Mathematics (in English), Famnit-Muzejski1 (Muzejski trg 7, ground floor)
  • 13.00–13.45: Bioinformatics (in Slovene), Famnit-Muzejski4 (Muzejski trg 7, ground floor)

  • 13.00–14.00: Mediterranean Agriculture, Famnit-MP6 (Glagoljaška 8, 2. floor)

Freshmen of Conservation Biology will have their meeting with study programme coordinator on Thursday, 3rd October at 14.00–15.00 in Famnit-MP1 (Glagoljaška 8, 1. floor).

All courses will start on Wednesday, 2nd October – please check the schedule that will be announced on Monday, 23rd September here (https://www.famnit.upr.si//en/student-pages/timetables). Time and classroom changes will be regularly published on the website (https://www.famnit.upr.si/sl/obvestila), but we advise you to register for the news and notices for your programme, as you will be immediately notified of any change.
