Wednesday, 29 September 2021 FAMNIT students successful on CERC 2020

On 25 and 26 September 2021, the CERC 2020 University Programming Competition (ACM ICPC Central European Regional Competition) took place. The competition was organized by the Czech Technical University in Prague (Czech Republic), although due to this year's COVID-19 it was held online.

The competition was attended by 88 teams from 25 universities from Austria, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Slovakia and Slovenia. The University of Primorska was represented by a team consisting of: Nemanja Torbica, Mirza Redžić and M. Besher Massri.

Competitors had 5 hours to solve 11 tasks, some of which were extremely challenging. The team of the University of Primorska took 34th place, which is a very nice success, as the Central European region is considered one of the most difficult in the world.
