Thursday, 24 July 2025 Research Visit from Utrecht University

Professor Hans Bodlaender from Utrecht University visited Professor Dr. Martin Milanič from July 21 to July 25 and shared some of his experiences with us.

"Martin Milanič was one of the organizers of the conference, where I also gave a lecture. He later invited me to visit Koper the week after the conference. This visit led to a fruitful collaboration on scientific research, which I thoroughly enjoyed. Martin invited me back this summer, and I was very pleased to accept.

Currently, we are working with a group of five on a question that originated from an earlier paper written by Martin. We have made some progress and have been discussing our findings on the whiteboard, brainstorming together. I found this week to be very productive.

I also want to mention that I truly enjoy my time in Koper; it’s a wonderful city. The good food and great company enhance the experience even more.”
