Wednesday, 15 October 2025 Participation at the SMART2025 Conference in Reggio Calabria

Before the start of the new semester, between September 28 and October 2, 2025, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Karla Ferjančič and Aljaž Kosmač attended the international SMART2025 conference, the fourth edition in the SMART conference series. This year, the event was held in the picturesque city of Reggio Calabria, Italy.

The conference brought together researchers from around the world working in the fields of subdivision, geometric and algebraic methods, isogeometric analysis, and related applications. Special emphasis was placed on new and emerging research areas that bridge theoretical approaches with advanced computational and engineering methods.
