Thursday, 30 May 2024 UP, UL, and UM have enabled psychology students to present their research work
Today, the Psychological Master's Conference 2024 is taking place at UP FAMNIT.
The event is organized by the Department of Psychology at UP, in collaboration with the Departments of Psychology at UL and UM, as well as the National Committee for awarding the EuroPsy certificate.
Through this collaboration, universities have offered psychology students the opportunity to present their research work as they complete their studies. The organizers' goal is to encourage discussion and collaboration among psychology students from different universities. The conference provides an excellent opportunity for colleagues to share their work, network, and learn from each other.
At the beginning of the event, the heads of the Psychology Departments from the respective universities greeted the attendees: Assist. Prof. Tina Podlogar (UP), Prof. Eva Boštjančič (UL), and Assoc. Prof. Bojan Musil (UM). Prof. Anja Podlesek also addressed the participants, presenting the European certificate in psychology EuroPsy and supervised practices, as well as the SUPER PSIHOLOG (SUPER PSYCHOLOGIST) system.
The conference features various presentation formats, including the presentation of the disposition of master's theses, presentation of master's thesis results, and presentation of research work within the doctoral program. Students have between 10 and 15 minutes for each presentation. By the end of the program, there will be a total of 55 presentations divided into 11 thematic groups:
- Interpersonal relationships, partnership, personality traits, and distress,
- Peer violence and conflicts in the workplace,
