Wednesday, 24 September 2025 21st Applied Statistics International Conference 2025

From 21 to 23 September 2025,  Koper hosted the 21st Applied Statistics International Conference, held here for the third time. The event brought together researchers and professionals from across the globe working in data analysis, data science, and statistics to showcase their most recent findings and exchange expertise. A total of 110 participants from 18 countries attended the conference.

The keynote lectures were delivered by Els Goetghebeur, Professor of Statistics at Ghent University, and Tamás Rudas, Emeritus Professor of Statistics at Eötvös Loránd University in Budapest. The scientific programme featured invited talks, oral sessions, and poster presentations of accepted contributions. The main two-day conference (Monday and Tuesday) was preceded by a workshop day on Sunday. MORE
