According to the European Directive SEVESO II, namely the Directive on the Prevention of Major Accidents and the Reduction of Their Consequences, the Port of Koper is identified as a major hazard installation. 

To reduce the risk of major accidents involving hazardous substances and to achieve a high level of protection against such accidents, Luka Koper has issued public information on the dangers and actions to take in case of accidents. This information is available at the following link > HERE.
