OPEN CALL UNDER ERASMUS+ (KA131) FOR STUDENT MOBILITY FOR TRAINEESHIPStop

On Decmebr 16, Erasmus+ Open Call for student mobility for traineeships was published on UP website. This call is intended for practical training abroad and supports both physical/combined (with a virtual component) long-term mobility for students of all three study levels, as well as short-term mobility for doctoral candidates, to be completed by July 31, 2026.

The application deadline for the call is defined as an open application period, starting on the day of the call's publication and lasting until funds are exhausted or until further notice.

Traineeships can be carried out in any public or private organization active in the labor market or in the fields of education, training, research, and innovation, as well as non-profit organizations, single organizations, etc. An Erasmus+ bilateral agreement for such mobility is not required.

Students can apply for Erasmus+ mobility for traineeship at any time through the Student Information System (ŠIS), generally at least 2 months before the planned start of mobility.

The application must include:

  • Completed and signed Learning Agreement for Traineeships.
  • In the case of mobility for recent graduates, a student applying for internship as a recent graduate* may exceptionally submit an invitation letter from the hosting institution instead of a signed training program.

A student selected by the home institution for an internship in the last year, while still having student status, and completes it within one year after graduating, i.e., by the end of studies. Applicable to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd levels of higher education.

OPEN CALL UNDER ERASMUS+ FOR STUDENT MOBILITY IN THE FRAME OF ERASMUS+ KA171top

Published on August 30, 2023, the call for co-financing student mobility for studying at partner universities within the Erasmus+ program KA171 (2023) has been issued.

Approved student mobilities are available at partner institutions across various countries: Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, South Africa, Kenya, China, Uzbekistan, and the USA.

Outgoing students have the opportunity to engage in mobility experiences lasting either for a duration from 2 to 5 months (long mobility) or 14 days (short mobility). Detailed information regarding the available mobilities, categorized by country, institution, and duration, can be accessed on the UP website.

The application window is referred to as the open application deadline and commences on the day of the call's publication. The window remains open until the allocated funds are exhausted or until cancellation.

  • Mobility activities must be concluded by July 31, 2026.

Before submitting your application, we kindly advise you to:

  1. Explore the study opportunities at the partner institutions specified in the call.
  2. Focus on those study programs that are compatible with your academic obligations.
  3. Consult with the coordinator of your study program regarding the possibilities of recognizing the educational content offered at partner institutions.

The candidate's application package should include:

  • The application form, accessible via the VIS/ŠIS system of the student's respective faculty.
  • A concise CV in both Slovenian and English*.
  • A motivation letter in both Slovenian and English*.
  • Evidence of English language proficiency.

*Students enrolled in UP study programs conducted in English need only submit the CV and motivation letter in English.

OPEN CALL UNDER ERASMUS+ FOR STUDENT MOBILITY AT BLENDED INTENSIVE PROGRAMS (BIPs)

Blended Intensive Programmes (BIPs) are short, intensive programmes organised by higher education institutions abroad. These programmes use innovative teaching and learning methods, including mandatory online participation. Part of the programme takes place in person, while the other part is virtual.

The physical mobility part of the BIP lasts between 5 and 30 days, while participation in the virtual part of the programme is compulsory. Students must obtain a minimum of 3 credits (ECTS) in the programme. Participation in a specific BIP is not possible if the student is simultaneously on Erasmus study exchange or traineeship.

  • The host institution must have an Erasmus+ bilateral agreement with UP or UP FAMNIT.
  • List of approved BIPs

To participate in BIP through the Erasmus+ program, please follow these steps:

  • Application to the Selected BIP: Initiate your participation by submitting an application to the selected BIP.
  • Application for the Erasmus+ Call for Participation in BIPs: Apply for the Erasmus+ call for participation in BIP via the online application form. Mandatory attachments include: Approved proposal for recognition of learning outcomes and  BIP program (or certificate of acceptance at BIP).
  • Conclusion of a Learning Agreement: Before the start of mobility, finalize the process by concluding a learning agreement.

OPEN CALL UNDER ERASMUS+ FOR STUDENT MOBILITY AT BIPs

The open call for student participation in Blended Intensive Programs (BIPs) under the Erasmus+ program was officially announced on the UP website on January 29, 2024.

The application deadline is set as an open deadline, commencing from the date of the call announcement. The application period continues until funds are exhausted or, at the latest, until May 31, 2025 at latest.

Students are encouraged to submit their applications at any time. However, it is recommended to apply at least 2 months before the chosen KIP's scheduled start date.

Student BIP Mobility: Polytechnic Institute of Bragança (IBP, Portugal)

Within the framework of the new Erasmus+ programme period (2021-2027) the Polytechnic Institute of Bragança (IPB, Portugal) and its European partners offer Blended Intensive Programmes (BIP).

There are different intensive programs offered:Challenge-Based Innovation (6 ETCS), Emotional Education (6 ETCS), Nature Conservation and Artificial Intelligence (6 ETCS), Circular Bioeconomy (6 ETCS), Cybersecurity (6 ETCS), Integrated Multimedia Project (6 ETCS) . Student BIP Mobility: Sustainable Computing, University of Applied Sciences FH JOANNEUM Kapfenberg, 8 May – 12 May 2023

As part of Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) university lessons on Sustainable Computing will be held at University of Applied Sciences FH JOANNEUM Kapfenberg (Austria) in collaboration with the following participating universities: University of Applied Sciences Haaga-Helia (Helsinki, Finland), University of Alcala (Alcala de Henares, Spain), Bordeaux Institute of Technology (Bordeaux, France) and University of Primorska (Koper, Slovenia).

BIP Sustainable Computing: Creating an interdisciplinary enabling space for the future 2023-2025 will take place from 8 May to 12 May 2023.

There are 3 different courses offered: Mobile App Development, Data Analytics & Big Data, and Sustainable Computing Startup .

Student BIP Mobility: ASTRA 2023: Summer School on Unmanned Aircraft Systems in Traffic Applications

Faculty of Maritime Studies, University of Rijeka is organizing the International Summer School on Unmanned Aircraft Systems in Traffic Applications - ASTRA 2023 within an Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Program (BIP). 

Virtual part: 21 June 2023

ADDITIONAL CALL UNDER ERASMUS+ KA131 FOR STUDENT MOBILITY FOR STUDIES IN THE ACADEMIC YEAR 2023/24

We are pleased to announce that on September 22, 2023, an additional call for co-financing student mobility within the KA131 program has been announced. This program facilitates opportunities for students to study abroad and supports various forms of mobility, including long-term and short-term options for students at all three levels of study, including PhD candidates.

Exchange Period: From selection until July 31, 2024

This call is specifically aimed at enabling participation in the Erasmus+ mobility program for the second semester of the 2023/24 academic year.

The deadline for submitting applications was Monday, October 9, 2023.

To apply for an exchange, students should utilize ŠIS. The application should include the following:

  • Completed application form, which can be accessed through ŠIS.

Students should list three (3) preferred institutions based on their study priorities in the application form and provide a motivation letter justifying these choices.

  • A concise CV in either Slovenian or English.
  • A mandatory motivation letter, utilizing the provided tender template: Annex 2_Motivation letter_study.

This letter can be composed in either English or the language of the host country. If writing in the host country's language, please include a Slovenian or English version.

The Open Call under Erasmus+ for Student Mobility at Blended Intensive Programs (BIPS) was published on 13 February 2023.
