Opportunities for exchange
printThe main programme for exchanges is Erasmus+. However, we also promote bilateral exchange programmes, CEEPUS mobility and other mobilities, when they are available (e.g. Swiss-European Mobility Programme, EEA/NFM mobility and similar).
Erasmus+ for EU Students
If you come from an EU country and would like to visit us as part of your Erasmus+ exchange, please check with your International Office if your university/faculty has signed an Inter-Institutional Agreement with UP FAMNIT. The Erasmus code of the University of Primorska is SI KOPER03.
Should you consider to visit us, it might be helpful to take a look at the courses we offer. Exchange students are free to take any course from the list of offered courses to exchange students at UP FAMNIT.
After you have fulfilled all application-related obligations at your university, they will send us a nomination for your exchange and we will contact you with a welcoming e-mail. All exchange students must then apply online to the University of Primorska online application system, which can be reached here. When you access the link, you will be guided by the application tool to complete the application procedure and upload all necessary documents needed for your exchange.
After this step, you will be ready to enjoy your exchange with us!
Erasmus+ for non-EU Studentstop
Students coming from selected non-EU countries also have the opportunity to do their exchange at UP FAMNIT. University of Primorska has received Erasmus+ KA171 funds for the mobility of incoming students and is now inviting all interested candidates to apply for an exchange.
UP FAMNIT will accept exchange students from the following countries:

Bilateral Scholarshipstop
The Slovenian Government announces scholarships for exchanges for foreign students annually. These scholarships are based on signed agreements between the Slovene and foreign government.
Scholarship usually include a minimum monthly income, free accommodation and basic medical insurance.
