E+ InCompEdu
printUP FAMNIT, together with other partners, successfully obtained project funds from the Erasmus+ Key Action 2 (KA2) programme for the two-year project Innovative Competence in Online Higher Education (InCompEdu).
E+ Key Action 2 enables the co-financing of projects aimed at rising the quality of teaching, training, learning and youth work, modernizing institutions and innovating the society. Project cooperation is thus intended for innovation and exchange of good practices.
The InCompEdu project, which starts on 1 April 2021, tackles the common challenges in the sudden switch to online teaching at the Higher Education Institutions (HEI) in the EU, due to COVID-19 and measurements for prevention of the spread, by identifying and sharing the good practices, knowledge and experience gained at the partner universities and beyond. The challenges include both mastering of new digital skills and the methodologies of creating and conducting online courses. Apart from the University of Primroska (FAMNIT), the next partners are participating in the project:
- University of Gdańsk, Poland (leading partner)
- University of Turku, Finland
- "1 Decembrie 1918" University of Alba Iulia, Romania
- University of Rijeka, Croatia
- Tor Vergata University of Rome, Italy
The target groups to be addressed are the community of academic teachers and HEI Authorities responsible for study programmes. These groups have been forced to make rapid changes in course programs and teaching methods. The project’s activities will focus on two aspects:
1.) digital competence of academic teachers, and
2.) the development of new competences in creation and implementation of online/hybrid courses and innovative curricula.
