Erasmus+ Open Call for mobility of staff enables exchanges for the purpose of teaching and training.
ERASMUS+ OPEN CALL KA131 FOR APPLICATIONS FOR CO-FINANCING OF THE MOBILITY FOR TEACHINGtop
Based on the approved funding from the European Commission, the Center of the Republic of Slovenia for Mobility and European Education and Training Programs (CMEPIUS) has granted the University of Primorska (UP) funding for co-financing staff mobility for teaching purposes amounting to €13,590.00. In accordance with the approved funds, open call for applications for co-financing of the mobility for teaching within Erasmus+ (KA131) program in the contract year 2023 was announced on October 25, 2024.
Mobilities must be carried out by July 31, 2025, and can take place in program countries, specifically in all member states of the European Union, Liechtenstein, Turkey, Serbia, North Macedonia, Norway, and Iceland, at higher education institutions with which UP or its individual members have established an Erasmus+ bilateral agreement.
Physical mobility can last from a minimum of 2 days to a maximum of 2 months, not including travel (up to 2 days can be added for the return journey). Teaching during the mobility must involve at least 8 hours of teaching per week (or for any shorter period of stay).
The application deadline for mobility is November 18, 2024.
Only complete applications will be accepted, meaning those that include:
- A completed online application form.
- A proposal for the mobility program for teaching purposes in English (Mobility Agreement for Staff Mobility), for which a signature is not required at the application stage.
An individual may only apply for one Erasmus+ KA131 mobility for teaching purposes based on this call.

ERASMUS+ KA171 CALL FOR STAFF EXCHANGE FOR TEACHING AND TRAINING AT PARTNER UNIVERSITIEStop
Published on August 30, 2023, the ERASMUS+ KA171 CALL is now open for employee mobility, focusing on both teaching and training purposes. These mobility opportunities must be concluded by the project's completion date, which is July 31, 2026.
The duration of mobility is capped at a maximum of 5 days. This allows for an allocation of up to two (2) days for travel, or up to four (4) days for environmentally-friendly travel. For teaching-focused mobility, a minimum requirement of 8 teaching hours per week must be fulfilled.

OPEN CALL FOR INTERNATIONAL STAF MOBILITIES FOR TRAINING UNDER ERASMUS+ KA131 PROGRAMMEtop
The Open Call for the Erasmus+ KA131 Programme was published on April 20th, 2023, offering staff the opportunity to visit partner universities in different countries to gain insights into their processes and working methods.
UP will support two types of mobilities:
- general mobilities
- mobilities of strategic importance
Mobilities can be impemented at the institution with which university has an agreement. The list of agreements can be found on the map of agreements under Erasmus+ page of the university here.
Minum duration of physical mobilities is 2 days. Maximum duration is 2 motnhs, of which the university will financially support a maximum 1 month.
There is a rolling deadline without a final application deadline. Candidates can apply for funding as soon as they arrange their mobility with the host institution.

ERASMUS+ OPEN CALL KA131 FOR APPLICATIONS FOR CO-FINANCING OF THE MOBILITY FOR TEACHING
We are excited to announce the publication of the ERASMUS+ KA131 call for co-financing staff mobility for teaching, released on September 11, 2023.
The mobility period must be completed by July 31, 2024. The participants can undergo the mobility in the Program countries, i.e. all EU member states, Liechtenstein, Turkey, Serbia, the Republic of North Macedonia, Norway, and Iceland, at the higher education institutions with which UP or UP FAMNIT has an Erasmus+ bilateral agreement.
Physical mobility can range from a minimum of 2 days to a maximum of 2 months, excluding travel (an additional 2 days are allocated for the return journey). During the mobility, a minimum of 8 hours of teaching per week (or a proportionate amount for shorter stays) must be conducted.
The deadline for mobility applications is September 25, 2023.
Only complete applications will be considered valid. These applications must include:
- An Application form
- A proposal for the mobility program for teaching in English (Mobility Agreement for Teaching. In the application phase the mobility program does not have to be signed.
An individual may apply for only one ERASMUS+ KA131 mobility for the purpose of teaching.
